The Community Services Department is responsible for coordinating all community development, housing and building activities within the City. These responsibilities include developing and implementing programs directed toward the stabilization of the City's commercial and industrial areas; attracting new commerce and industry; maintaining neighborhoods through housing rehabilitation; providing elderly and other social programs; pursuing federal funding for these programs.
