Electric Aggregation Program - Update
FirstEnergy Solutions (FES) Bankruptcy and the City of Euclid Electric Aggregation Program
- The only change that is coming as a result of FES filing bankruptcy is FES sold their book of business to Exelon Generation Company, LLC and the City’s aggregation contract with FES will be transferred to Exelon’s subsidiary, Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. (Constellation)
- Constellation will continue to honor the same rate, terms, and conditions that you agreed to in your contract with FES.
- The only difference is a new supplier name, Constellation, will appear on electric bills within the next couple of months.
There will be no interruptions in electric service. There will be no changes to program rate, terms, and conditions. There is no action required by community leaders or your residents.
Rate: 5.15 cents per KWH through April 2021, no cancellation fee when opting out of the aggregation program
