Great Lakes Expo Center Opens in Euclid

The attached press release issued today announces the opening of the Great Lakes Expo Center, a multi-purpose meeting and convention facility in the City of Euclid.  As stated in the press release, this very exciting project is the first of its kind in suburban Cuyahoga County, and will put the vacant former Kmart property at 1200 Babbitt Road back into productive use starting in January 2010.

The press release and an early rendering of the facility developed for promotional purposes are attached for your information.  The operators, Expositions, Inc. are the owners of the well known and popular Cleveland Home and Garden Show and the Cleveland Sport, Travel and Outdoor Show, both of which will now be in this new facility in Euclid on the dates shown below.  Coupled with the Bluestone Business Park under development by Fogg, this project represents additional significant private investment in our I-90 business corridor and will bring thousands of visitors to Euclid.
