Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the CUY-Euclid Ave./E 260th St. Improvements project will be received by the Service Department’s Office of the City of Euclid in City Hall, 585 East 222nd Street, Euclid, Ohio 44123 until 3:00 p.m., local time on Monday, October 5, 2020 for furnishing all labor and materials for the project in accordance with the specifications on file for inspection at the City of Euclid Office.  These documents may only be obtained through the GPD Group office by emailing and requesting a digital copy.  Digital documents will be provided free of charge.  Contact David Neumeyer at 330-572-2496 with questions.

Each bid must contain the name of every person, firm or corporation interested in same and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Ohio, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to the City of Euclid, as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted a contract pursuant thereto will be entered into and its performance properly secured.  The check of the successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution and securing of the contract.  The checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned after a contract has been awarded and entered into, or upon the rejection of all bids.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirement.  DBE participation goals (subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this project for those certified as DBE’s pursuant to Title 23, U.S.C. section 140(c) and 49 CFR, Part 26, and where applicable qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the ORC.  The DBE goal for this project is 7%.

Only ODOT-prequalified contractors are eligible to bid on this project.

Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes for the project with the Project Name and Bidder contact information clearly marked on the outside.

The City of Euclid reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularities in the bids and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the City.
