Listed on the National Register of Historic Places
The Albert W. Henn Mansion is a picturesque focal point in Euclid, Ohio's Sims Park. Built in 1923 by industrialist Albert W. Henn, this brick English Tudor Revival home with overtones of the Bungalow/Craftsman style is located in a 30-acre park and bird sanctuary on the shores of Lake Erie. The Henn features leaded glass windows, slate roof, carved oak panels, ornate fireplaces, and an elegant brass/wrought iron staircase. The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Friends of the Henn Mansion, Inc., formed in 1996, made it their goal to restore & preserve this building for future generations. To reach this goal, the mansion is offered for short-term cultural, educational, business, and private event rental. The Friends also raise funds through memberships, donations and fund raising events. The Henn Mansion is open for public visitation every Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Note: The mansion will not be open if a holiday falls on or near a Wednesday and the Mansion is closed the entire month of January.
