Dear Euclid Friend:

Thank you for inquiring about the Euclid Senior Programs. We are housed in the Lakefront Community Center, 1 Bliss Lane, in the beautiful Euclid Park, on the shores of Lake Erie. Senior Programs not only offers a variety of activities including bingo, arts and crafts, dance, exercise, Wii, and many discussion groups, but we also offer a daily nutritional balanced lunch program at noon with reservations being required, all for a suggested donation of $ 1.00.

Transportation services are also offered to and from the center if you reside in Euclid and to medical appointments and grocery shopping to Marc’s and Dave’s. If you are homebound we offer home delivered meals on a daily basis.

There are many volunteer opportunities to assist the staff and provide involvement while engaging the seniors time and talents they have acquired over the years. We offer free blood pressure checks each Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. to Noon. We also offer free vision, hearing and glucose screening through the year. On Wednesdays and Fridays, Dr. Hennie, podiatrist, is available at the center, by appointment.

A monthly newsletter provides details of the daily happenings at the center with a menu for the current month and updates on upcoming events. All programs are for the benefit and encouragement to help promote healthy vibrant and independent lifestyles for the seniors in our community.
