Congregate (on site) Dining -- Socialize, make new friends, or renew old acquaintances at the noontime lunch program.

Our goal is to provide a hot, nutritious, well-balanced lunch. Each meal contains at least one-third of the recommended daily nutritional allowance for older adults. The menu is planned for those individuals on a mild sodium restricted diet, 2,000 mg. Our menu is not suitable for those on a diet severely restricted in sodium, 1,000 mg. or less.

If you wish to have unsweetened fruit as an alternative to dessert, you may request it at the time your reservation is made. Box lunches may be reserved if the menu selection is not to one's liking. One percent milk, coffee and tea are also provided.

Suggested lunch donation is $1.00

To make reservations call (216) 289-2985 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., to cancel call from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. To insure that you can lunch on your requested day please call as early as possible, preferably one week in advance.

If you must cancel, please call as soon as possible so that someone on the waiting list may participate and also to eliminate the Center being charged for a meal that is not eaten.

Home Delivered Meals -- The same lunch served at the Nutrition Center can be home delivered to homebound seniors who are too ill to prepare a meal for themselves or to come to the Center. The suggested donation is $1.00. If you are in need of a home delivered meal, call the Center and ask to speak to a Social Worker.
