Request for Qualifications (RFQ):Engineering Services East 215th Street Trail and Heritage Park Improvements

March 10, 2025

The City of Euclid is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ): For Engineering Services for the East 215th Street Trail and Heritage Park Improvements projects.

The City of Euclid has prioritized the maintenance and expansion of vibrant recreational amenities as a guiding principle in its 2018 Master Plan. As the City aims to deliver on this tenet, it seeks to maintain and upgrade existing park facilities to achieve a high level of quality, safety, aesthetic appeal, and function.

In order to meet the community’s objectives, the City is seeking qualifications for engineering firms to provide professional services for the design and implementation of improvements for two public projects: Heritage Park (Park) and the East 215th Street Trail (Trail). Included with the engineering services is a small amount of landscape architecture services. Interested firms should supply qualifications and fee schedules for engineering, construction plan sets, estimates of probable cost, project bidding, and construction management services. Fees are to be itemized per project but presented as one sum for City consideration.

Improvements at these projects are made possible in part due to Cuyahoga County Supplemental Grant (CDSG) funds awarded to the City in 2025. Construction of these projects must be completed by year-end 2025. Due to the time constraints imposed by the grant funding, the City is utilizing a request for qualifications process

The new deadline for submissions is April 14th, 2025 at 4pm EST.
