Planning and Development Department

 

Purpose

 

The Planning and Development Department provides assistance and direction in the development of the community, retains and attracts businesses to create a vibrant business community, develops and implements community-led comprehensive, neighborhood, and transportation plans, and maintains the built environment according to the standards set by City Council through the enforcement of the City’s planning and zoning regulations. Department staff serves as advisers to the Administration, City Council , Planning Commission , Architectural Review Board , and community stakeholders like the CIC in understanding and dealing with development-related issues.

There will be two public hearings held for resident comments, one on Thursday, May 29, 2025 and a second one on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
May 14, 2025
Proposals for this improvements project are being accepted though 2pm on Friday, June 6th, 2025.
April 17, 2025
Road resurfacing is scheduled to begin in May. The project is on schedule for completion fall of 2025.

The City of Euclid is inviting preliminary development proposals to purchase and develop new housing on 10 parcels in Monterey Heights.

Proposals are being accepted for exterior work at five residential properties in the City of Euclid.
