Shore Cultural Centre Hosts Disney's "Beauty and the Beast"

Oct 03, 2022

Six shows are scheduled October 14th through 23rd. Tickets are on sale now!

Disney’s beloved musical, Beauty and the Beast, will be gracing the stage at Shore Cultural Center in October- bringing awarding-winning theater back to the heart of Euclid. Shore-based Silhouette Productions will be presenting this classic tale with its memorable songs and cast of unforgettable enchanted characters opening October 14th and running six weekend shows through October 23rd.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household staff will be doomed for all eternity. This production will feature the original Disney score with music by Alan Menken and Lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and will include sing-a-long favorites such as “Be Our Guest”, the self-titled “Beauty and the Beast” and “Something There”. It will also feature a cast of well know Disney characters such as Belle, The Beast, Mrs Potts, Chip and all your favorites from the animated classic.

“We’re so excited to be able to bring this amazing production to Euclid,” said Silhouette Productions Artistic Director, and Beauty and the Beast Production Director Charlotte Mirabile. “It’s a great story, we have amazing sets and costumes and the cast for this production is just fantastic. So many people have put so much hard work into this show, and we just can’t wait to bring everything we’ve done to the community.”

Tickets range from $14.00 to $20.00 with student, senior & group discounts. Evening performances on Fridays and Saturdays are at 7:30 pm, and Sunday Matinees are at 2:00pm.
