American Flag Disposal - Boy Scout Troop 161 has created and built an American Flag Drop Box for the proper disposal of our flag. Residents can come in to the lobby of City Hall during regular business hours and drop off their flag. The Boy Scout Troop will be emptying the dispenser and taking care of the disposal with the utmost respect for our flag.

 


 

Pitch Those Pills - Deposit unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs at the Drug Drop Box at The Euclid Police Department.

 


 

Batteries –Batteries are accepted at Bulldog Battery located at 37645 Vine Street, Willoughby, 44094. Their phone number is (440) 942-2555.

 


 

Used Oil - Take 5 is now offering a free recycling program for used oil at 20 locations in Cuyahoga County. Used motor oil will be collected during store hours Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Up to 6 quarts of motor oil from do-it-yourself mechanics are accepted. Dispose of Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) only for free at:

Used Cars -
Goodwill Car Donation, accepts tax-deductible vehicle donations to positively impact the community and make car removal much easier.

Residents may still drop off paper products at the various Abitibi recycling sites (green and yellow bins) which contribute a portion of the profits to charity.

Aluminum cans are collected at Fire Station #1, 775 East 222nd Street and benefit the MetroHealth Burn Unit

Computer Round-Up

Hours: Computers and related apparatus can be dropped off at any time.
Notice: Televisions cannot be accepted!

 


 

Scrap Tire Round-Up
Date: September 9 - 14
Location: John A. Piscitello Service Center

Hours: 8 am to 3 pm
Notice: Only passenger and light truck tires can be accepted. Tires must be off of the rims.

 


 

Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up

Dates: March 11-15, June 10-14, September 9-14
Location: John A. Piscitello Service Center

Hours: 8 am to 3 pm
Acceptable Items:

 

  • Oil or solvent based paints, sealers, primers, varnish, polyurethanes, shellacs, spray paint
  • Kerosene, gasoline, lighter fluid, automotive fluids
  • Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides
  • Caustic household cleaners
  • Adhesives, roof tar, driveway sealer
  • Mercury

Notice: We will not accept latex paint at the Round Up as it is not considered a hazardous material. Latex paint will be picked up with curbside trash if the paint is not in a liquid state. To harden paint, mix it with sand, dirt or kitty litter. Place the uncovered paint can on your treelawn for pickup. (This is for households only and not open to the business sector.)

 


 

 The Household Hazardous Round-Up is located between the Animal Shelter and the Abiliti Paper Bins (East of the Animal Pound and West of the Service Garage). There are cones set up for the week that guide you back to the truck and attendant. It is in a gated area that is locked at 3:00 p.m. each day.
